Vigne della Bra Soave 2016
WHITE BURGUNDY-LIKE TEXTURE
The Wine Advocate gave it 90 points and noted it had a "white Burgundy-like texture along with notes of tropical fruits, caramelized lemon, and orange peel offered in a medium-bodied, authoritative, impressively rich style...should be enjoyed over the next several years."
The sense of natural, earthy minerality is profound and the texture of wine is quite special. To the eye, straw yellow, the nose reveals aromas of white fruits, flowers and herbs. The taste is dry, fresh and mineral. Great structure, it closes along with good aromatic persistence. Excellent with fish, white meat and medium-aged cheeses. A stunning wine to be savoured and studied with an open mind and a hearty desire for great wine.

CULTURE Organic, Biodynamic
HIGHEST VINEYARDS IN SOAVE
The vineyards of Castelcerino are the highest in the Soave area reaching up to 400 metres above sea level. It is in this area that Filippo Filippi grows old Garganega and Trebbiano di Soave vines, almost all of which were planted in the 1950s. The 16ha of vineyards are subdivided into three different Soave crus: Castelcerino, Monteseroni and Vigne della Brà, each characterised by very different soils which affect the minerality of the wines. Organic farming is practised, respecting the natural cycles of the vines and the sustainability of the environment and vinification is undertaken with respect for the natural time each wine takes to mature.
